The place
Paraskevi,
Aigialia.
Fifteen kilometres south of Aigio, a road climbs through olive groves and plane trees and reaches a village built at 700 metres, Paraskevi, on the slopes that fall toward the Corinthian Gulf.
Our vineyards sit below a fir forest, in one of the highest and coolest viticultural zones in Greece.
On the Slopes of Aigialia, between 650 and 1,000 metres, we grow Roditis Alepou, Malagousia, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mavrodafni.
The wines
Five bottles,
two ranges.
The Aetokorfes range (white, rosé, red) and the Vigla range (a Malagousia and a red aged 12 months in oak barrels). All from our estate vineyards on the slopes of Aigialia.
Visit
At the
winery.
A stone building on a hillside in the village, with a semi-underground ageing cellar and a tasting room. The winery is open to visitors.
